Ring Riding in Southern Jutland
The tradition spread to small and large towns in Southern Jutland when Duke Christian August and his wife held a grand tournament in celebration of their silver wedding anniversary in 1845. In Aabenraa, the festival is traditionally held on the first weekend of July.
