The Pharmacist Passage

In the old days, it was the king who granted permission to operate the lucrative pharmacies, which, in addition to medicine, could also trade in wine and spices.
This passage leads to Ramsherred, where the Danish pharmacist Waarsaa established himself as an alternative to the Lion Pharmacy in 1851. The coat of arms can still be seen on the gate at number 45. In 1973, the pharmacy moved to number 20, and in 21 to Opnørplads number 1-3.
