Miss Fanny´s Gang

In 1805, a newborn girl was placed in the care of a washerwoman in Persillegade. It was said that she was the child of the crown prince and his fiancée, partly because she was taught to sew and embroider alongside the county governor’s daughters at the castle.
Miss Fanny was clairvoyant, and her prophecy that Southern Jutland would become Danish again was a driving force for the pro-Danish people.
